Thoughts On Dobsonian Telescopes
Telescopes have pretty much stayed the same over the last few hundred years. Galileo invented his telescope, then we had Newton make his reflector. And pretty much telescopes have stayed the same. Today, however, Dobsonian telescopes are a new design.

The New Telescope Alternative
When we think of telescopes, and the science of astronomy, the first things that come to mind are Galileo’s refractor or Newton’s reflector. But, there is another type of telescope which is becoming more and more popular, and that is Dobsonian telescopes.
